Every December, Colmenar holds this popular food festival dedicated to grape must and the traditional cured meats of the Montes de Málaga.
Visitors can sample chorizo, salchichón, black pudding, morcón, Iberian ham, pork loin and other traditional products from the Axarquía, such as country bread, cheese, honey and olive oil.
The day is rounded off with musical performances and traditional dances, including the verdiales.
